Arkansas State Highway 70 - White River
DeValls Bluff, AR / Estimated Contract Value: $ 5.3M
In
July, 2002, Jensen Construction Company was awarded a $5,326,000 contract to
complete the construction of Highway 70 over the White River at DeValls Bluff,
Arkansas. The project involved building a troubled pier from a
previous contract, erecting the structural steel over the river, and placing
approximately 800 feet of deck on the newly erected steel. Jensen
completed the pier construction after encapsulating the existing failed
cofferdam with our own cofferdam. This very difficult project was
completed in the spring of 2004.
